Zabeel House The Greens announces a job vacancy, inviting applications for the role of Waiter in the Lah Lah Service. The primary objective of this role is to deliver consistently high-quality food and beverage service in line with our lifestyle concept's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as a liaison between the kitchen and service area: This involves maintaining clear and effective communication between the kitchen staff and the front-of-house team. You will ensure that the food preparation and delivery process runs smoothly, coordinating orders and ensuring that dietary preferences and modifications are accurately communicated and executed.
• Provide table and/or counter service for all menu items: You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages to guests at their tables or the counter, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This includes being familiar with the menu, explaining dish components, and answering any questions guests may have.
• Offer table and/or counter service for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages: Mastery in the preparation and presentation of a wide range of drinks is essential. You will need to know the ingredients of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages, as well as serving them in accordance with the establishment's standards.
• Update necessary food and beverage knowledge to perform duties: Staying informed about the latest trends in the food and beverage industry, including new menu items, special promotions, and seasonal changes. Continuous learning and training are key to providing accurate and enthusiastic information to guests.
• Advise guests on food and beverage selections: Using your knowledge and expertise to recommend dishes and drinks based on guests' preferences, dietary restrictions, or curiosity. This involves being attentive to the guests' needs and providing personalized suggestions.
• Understand food and beverage service, including the use of stem glasses and appropriate garnishes: Knowing which glassware to use for different beverages and how to garnish drinks and dishes properly enhances the dining experience and demonstrates attention to detail.
• Receive and store food and beverages, adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures: Ensuring that all food items are received, stored, and handled in compliance with hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages served: Regularly checking the presentation and quality of dishes and drinks before they are served to maintain high standards and immediately addressing any issues.
• Actively employ up-selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue: Suggesting premium dishes, special drinks, or add-ons in a manner that enhances the guests' dining experience and contributes to the outlet's profitability.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and set all tables according to standards: Preparing the dining area for service by setting tables, stocking service stations, and ensuring that the environment is clean and welcoming. Similarly, closing duties involve cleaning, restocking, and preparing the space for the next service.
• Promptly report any accidents or guest complaints, however minor, to the manager: Taking immediate action in case of any incidents or feedback, ensuring that they are addressed efficiently and effectively to maintain guest satisfaction.
